Collaborative
The premise for this show is unique and exciting! We decided to work separately, each creating our own paintings; once that step is completed, we bring our individual pieces together and look for those speaking the same language, in other words creating a conversation. We JOIN the pieces to make a SINGLE piece of art. One plus one does equal one. We don't look at each other's paintings beforehand. It is a complete surprise. The days we get together to pair our work is like Christmas morning to a small child—exhilarating and we can't wait to see what is "under the tree!"
